Limited flight options required us to spend a quick night in Bangkok. We were surprised when the Le Meridien Bangkok put us in the Presidential Suite, which takes up half of the top floor. The bathroom had one of those $10,000 toilets that have been on the news lately.
I’ve always wanted to go to Angkor Wat. Only a $50 flight way from Phuket, we couldn’t refuse. The ruins are some of the most amazing I’ve ever seen, especially the the Angkor Wat complex itself and the “Tomb Raider” temple.
I love Phuket. From the gorgeous beaches to the Sea Gypsy villange, to the hidden Mangove forest in a collapsed cave, my iPhone was seldom in my pocket because I was constantly taking pictures. “James Bond” Island was a highlight.
Another Asia trip to meet with my clients. This year, we got to see the completed House of a Thousand Buddhas in the Po Lin Monastery.

Another fun trip to Las Vegas to see the latest and greatest in consumer electronics. We ate at some of our favorite restaurants — Tao, Rose Rabbit Lie. This year, we took a side trip to Red Rock Canyon.
