Usually one of the windiest spots in California, Pt. Reyes was unusually warm and calm this evening. The sunset was spectacular.
Only open for a few weeks, we were very excited to see the new SF MoMA. We weren’t disappointed. The architecture is amazing, as was the fantastic collection of art. The all-red bathrooms took some getting used to.
Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities in Europe. The weather was perfect for the first few days, but turned cold and wet. With some of the best museums anywhere, we didn’t really care that it was raining.
Who cares if it is touristy? Zaanse Schans is always a must-do when in the Netherlands.
I’ve always wanted to go to The Hague to see Vermeer’s Girl with the Pearl Earring. The town itself is very charming in its own right. We will have to return and spend more time.
Home to a pottery factory started in the 1600s, Delft is like a miniature Amsterdam with its many canals.
Our first night in The Netherlands was in Noordwijk, a charming town on the North Sea. The weather was in the high 70s, apparently unusual for this time of year.
