Fleet Week, San Francisco

Over 1,000,00 people come to San Francisco during Fleet Week to see the Parade of Ships and Blue Angels, among other performances.  We watched the Blue Angels from my office, which has a commanding view of the harbor.  I made time-lapse videos of the Blue Angels, as well as the harbor emptying of ships at the end of the performance, which was almost as interesting.

We then did the most touristy thing you can do in San Francisco:  ride the cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Dinner at Peña Pachamama, a vegan Bolvian restaurant, was a highlight.  The food and entertainment was superb.  We we lucky to see the top Jazz pianist from Cuba.
